problem #3

1500 ES 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

Fuel sensor fails and fuel gauge reads empty and low fuel warning light comes on.

1500 Express 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

The part in question has not been updated to prevent the problem in the future. I liken this to putting a tire with the belts showing for a flat tire.

1500 Longhorn 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

This is the second Ram truck that I have owned. May be the last. This fuel sensor should last the life time of the truck, at the very least it should be covered by the warranty at this low mileage. They should at the very bottom line reimburse me the $100.00 deduct that I had to pay out of my pocket, good thing I had paid the high cost of buying the extended warranty from them.
