The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. While driving various speeds, the tailgate would independently open. Don davis Dodge Chrysler Jeep (1901 N collins St, arlington, tx) was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed because the contact refused to pay the diagnostic fee. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.

The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. While driving 55 mph, the tailgate dropped without warning. The vehicle was taken to hayes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of lawrenceville 719 duluth highway 120, lawrenceville, ga 30046, but the dealer could not provide a definitive diagnosis. The dealer stated that they would replace the latches and continue to replace parts until the failure was resolved. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case for the contact. The approximate failure mileage was 54,096.
