1500 Texas Edition Hemi V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10 miles

Bought a new Dodge Ram 1500 in April........has had wind noise from the beginning which we were told "oh that is an easy fix, they can do some adjustments and take care of that" well.............2 trips to the shop.....the second one....in the shop for 1 week and 2 days..........the first time in a shop foreman rode with me............told me it was everything from standard road noise to.......it is the tires.......to that is just the way these trucks are........but leave it and we will check it. Picked it up.....we couldn't find anything wrong........drove it for a couple of weeks went on a trip out of town......it was the most miserable trip ever, this noise is so loud you cannot hold a conversation between the driver and passenger.........and when the wind blows really hard you can hear the wind gusts inside the truck. 2nd trip to shop service guy says ok we will get it taken care of I will have the glass company come out and reseal the windshield and see if that takes care of it..............several days rock along he calls said the glass shop said it is because of the rain guards added to the doors of the truck...........NO IT"S NOT because when the truck was brought in the first time they were not on there..........that was our attempt at trying anything to see if it would help. So he calls back the next day and says they drove my truck, then drove a new truck off the lot just like mine and cannot tell any difference.............okay so you have 2 vehicles with horrible .... 2 weeks total they had the truck and did absolutely NOTHING to fix it. ............Time to buy a different make of truck.........so done with Dodge..........not so much their vehicles as it is their customer service or lack there of................

1500 Rebel 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

When Driving at freeway speeds wind causes an annoying roar in cab. Cross winds at freeway speeds cause truck to be blown out of lane..Must constantly fight to maintain truck in lane. Very dangerous! Had a GMC before. WILL DEFINITELY GO WITH GMC NEXT TIME WHICH WILL BE SOON. GMC WAS VERY QUIET AND HELD ROAD WELL.
