1500 Big Horn 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,092 miles

Our 2019 Ram 1500 would not move when my wife tried to pull off from a stop sign while headed to church on Easter morning with our grandchildren. While trying to figure out what was wrong, we pushed the PTT button to shut the truck off. The engine would shut off but the PTT button "ACC" stayed lit up and the electronics in the truck, such as the radio and lights, continued to operate even with the doors open. We were told to disconnect the battery for 2 minutes and reconnect it. The truck would then shut off both the engine and electronics properly. We will be calling the dealership Monday to report the problem and get the truck checked.

1500 Big Horn V8 Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

I got home put the truck in park and pressed the ignition button and it went straight to acc setting. I pressed it again and it went to run position. I pressed it again to turn it off and nothing happened, it stayed in the run position and the cluster kept saying vehicle not in park. The truck was in the park position. The truck did turn on when I hit the ignition button, while the brake was pressed but kept doing the same thing when I tried to turn it off. I went inside to get tools to unhook the battery and I tried one more time and it finally turned off. This recently happened and I'm taking my truck in tomorrow.
