ABS/Traction control warning light constantly going off and on. I contacted RAM through email because truck is out of warranty. They recommended that only the dealership can help solve my issue.

Maybe this video might help others experiencing the same.

Warning lights started flashing "Service Electronic Braking System" and "ABS needs servicing". Both of these warning icons would flash together then would go off. It hasn't come back in the last 24 hours, but from previous complaints, I read this is only temporary and will get worse unless both units are replaced. I just had my auto inspection and was told my brakes are good... The warning icons didn't come on. I'm going to wait and see as I'm told this is a very expensive fix (at least for me on a fixed budget).

2017 Ram 2500, ABS / traction control warning lights come on from time to time then go off, and each time the dash message reads SERVICE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM. A ding is heard each time, and if cruise control is on it will deactivate it immediately. I called my purchasing dealer, he said he knows all about it. Confirmed it was faulty ABS control module by pulling the codes there while I watched.

Any mechanic who is replacing sensors or anything other than the control module is taking your money. Dealer gave me a loaner, lucky for me I had extended warranty, $50 out of pocket. Chrysler Corp. is aware of these faulty units but will not issue a recall, if you have no warranty expect to pay big $$$. Love the truck, but would never purchase w/out an extended warranty and good local dealer support.
