2018 Ram 2500 Recall V06 Drag Link Failure. I received the recall to take it to the Fowler Dodge in OKC, OK to get it fixed. When I talked to them about this problem of welding the nuts to the drag link, they said it was a permanent fix, that Ram had them do it to all the new trucks in inventory because there are no replacement parts coming from the manufacture. Now they are selling New Trucks to people that can't have anyone else align the front steering because the nuts are welded on the failed part. The Engineers and CEO of Fiat should be recalled back to janitor status, for putting out a dangerous truck that no one else will work on. They can't even straighten up my steering wheel with out weakening the part even more, the dumb asses.

I feel this is very wrong and bad for business, I will not be able to go anywhere for an alignment except for the "stealership" for $300, because they they refuse to make a simple fix!! I understand the weld for a quickfix until correct parts arrive - however this was not an option given to me!!!! I just put new tires on and simply wanted an alignment, should had been $100-125, now its gonna cost me $600 plus running back and forth, because they refuse to do anything!!! How can this be legal, much less safe? Truck only has 50000 miles on it!!

Update from May 14, 2021: After calling Ram Cares and Chrysler for 2+ months and being continually lied to I give up!!! They obviously are not going to help get it repaired!! Towards the end I was just asking if they were gonna help me or not, a simple yes or no?
