2500 Big Horn 6.4L

I purchased a new 2018 RAM 2500 this year. To date, I have never had a reason to use the 4-WD feature. Now with only 3180 miles on it, the 4-WD transmission service warning light on all the time. The electronic switch selector does absolutely nothing. Dealer says it needs a new transmission module. Of course they don't have one in stock so they got one ordered and it will take 2 weeks to get it. In the meantime they manually disconnected the 4-WD feature from the drive train.
