The contact owned a 2014 Ram 3500. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the front passenger-€™s side wheel detached from the vehicle. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the lug nuts had sheared off causing the wheel to detach. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 165,000.
