when towing anything on any road, engine slips gears

Ever since we purchased the 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 we have had problems with the performance. We traded in a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 and never had an issue. But, with the new Ram 3500 we have had nothing but serious issues with the engine/transmission. Because we can't find a dealer's service department in 3 states that can identify the fix we are at an impass. We purchased the truck in the state of Washington but park it in Oregon and use it in California on occassion. The problem is, we are towing a small 14 foot trailer with tools and the damn truck will not haul anything up hill on a flat surface without "bucking, stalling and then kicking in" back in first gear to spite the gear you were in before attempting the haul. To date, there is no solution offered by any Dodge mechanic on the West Coast. Now, We currently have it in the hands of Normandin Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in San Jose California and they also did a ride along to verify that there is in fact a major issue towing and a huge safety concern. They also have another customer with the same issue and they just don't know what to do about it either. We first took the truck back to the dealership in Washington state, Mid Valley Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Grandview and they also verified the problem in a ride along but also have no idea of how to fix it. We have been dealing with this since last spring and it is now December. We almost lost the truck, trailer and my life towing up Donner Pass outside of Tahoe last summer when the gear shifted and sent the truck and trailer towards the cliff on a turn. We have spoken to Dodge Corporate and they are stalling for an answer too. I sure hope they are not waiting for a death toll before they figure this one out.

Update from Dec 15, 2016: We contacted Dodge Customer Care on 12/14/2016. The woman that represented Dodge was completely unhelpful and refused to allow us to talk to her manager. After we explained the issue that has been going on for a year we asked her to make arrangements with the dealership to loan us a 3500 truck so that we could haul a trailer across state lines to our other facility and the Dodge representative said no, and made us feel as though this is just our problem, not hers. So much for Dodge customer care department, only they don't care.
