on the Saturn aura "torque steer" is when the vehicle's steering is hard to control under hard acceleration. this car has it bad. it literally feels like someone is steering the car in the opposite direction that you are. very bad when passing a slower vehicle. according to the mechanic at the dealership it is due to the liquid filled motor mounts. instead of solid mounts they engineered liquid filled mounts to dampen the engine vibrations. and the result of this brainstorm is torque steer.
