I slightly was going off the curve to the right I turned the wheel to get straight the steering went out I lost control I mashed breaks and nothing stopped the car veered to the right crashing into a utility pole, flipped and the front driver tire, hub and axe came completely off it was not struck by the pole. Electrical power steering failed, warning light illuminated upon restart after an oil change, the 'usual' symptoms (hard to turn wheel, especially at low speeds, etc.) for ps failure. Aprox 60000 miles at the time of failure. There is likely something failing here, and it is safety related, but it is intermittant at this point

In January 2016 while driving on highway to work I had bear to the right at an intersection from 1-90 to 1-76, wheels/steering locked or something and I ended up spinning off roadway. Hit division embankment crashing front end and my air bags never deployed. Traction in the car I later found out was not engaging when it should have been. Now car's traction does not work if it ever really did. I have been in touch with GM complaints department and now I have been assigned a case number but this is about recalls on Y vehicle that I do not know they really are because Saturn wants me to pay to get this information. I asked why but did not get an answer. Only was told that recalls are VIN specific and I needed to go to https://www.vincheckpro.com/VIN-register. now my vehicle has a control board that is going haywire literally. Guages blinking on and off, speedometer acting like a windshield wiper, oil light, brake light, airbag symbol, battery symbol, radio blinking in and out randomly. Fuel and temp guages not moving at all. Key sticks and car won't turn completely off at times. Chimes wont stop and more.

I own a 2007 Saturn Ion, I recently started having trouble with the steering, the steering wheel is very tight and when I make a turn I need to physically turn the wheel back if I don't the car will continue going in the direction I was turning. I am now having trouble keeping it on the road as it wants to pull to the left, it is in alinement. I purchased my car in 2013 from the original owner I did receive the recall notice for the ignition switch but never received notice 14V15300. When I enter my VIN# it shows that there no recalls.I drive 36 miles a day for work, I have not had an accident but it's getting to the point that I am afraid to drive and this is my only vehicle.

I was on my way home just getting off highway with speed limit of 65 mph, when I parked at local grocery store near my home. Parked in stall fine but about 10 minutes later I found upon attempting to drive out of the stall, I could hardly turn my car to make it out of the parking lot. I was able to slowly drive it home hoping it would correct itself then noticing powered steering light on dash. On arrival to my home I parked backwards in fear of getting stuck. I then tried numerous times to turn on and off the car with no change in steering or dashboard light. Fortunately this happened literally a mile off the highway which I could have easily gotten into a serious accident with much higher speeds and no control to drive the automobile.
