Vue 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,120 miles

My 2007 Saturn Vue has been smelling real real bad with strong fuel odors since I purchased it, with low miles. It in the right rear tire area is the worst. I use it to drive for lift and the leak got so bad customers complained. Then googled the problem and it appears many people had same problem saying the Nylon fuel lines press fitted on top of fuel module crack and leak fuel real bad. Fire hazard, and people say GM did nothing about it? No access panel in trunk area, have to pull fuel take and replace fuel pump module. Very expensive fix for a stupid $1.00 nylon line Saturn won't warranty. I was told they went out of business in 2009. Hope I can still get parts for mine as it only has 41K on it and it's now June 2020.

Vue Redline V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 142,000 miles

Strong fuel smells near the rear tires for days, then found out there is fuel dripping off near the exhaust system. This is a major fire hazard! brought to the local shop and found fittings/ports on fuel pump are cracked, similar to others being reported. Got the fuel pump replaced, cost $850. This is a very poorly made/quality to a very critical part, will have to reconsider buying future GM, will need a new car very soon.

Vue 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,500 miles

Bought 2007 Saturn Vue Base Model with 62,500 miles. Car runs great but noticed raw gas smell most strong near the right rear tail light lens. Twice mechanics have checked for visible leaks without results and have no definitive diagnosis. There are no malfunction codes and no warning lamps illuminated.
