  • CVT transmission
  • 38,000 miles

recently the car would not engage reverse when the shift lever is moved to the reverse position. theres alot of posts on yahoo that indicate this is a common problem, but so solid solutions. this is a big problem due to having to push the car backwards.

i was told it may be the shift motor, but not sure.
