This was the second battery in two years! I was refused to be included in the class action suit because I did not take it to a Subaru dealership! I live 25 miles from the closest one and when the battery is dead getting there is an issue. My battery now is getting weak and will probably need replacing when the weather gets really cold! I think the class action suit is a sham! The consumer gets screwed again!

I reported the failure and the replace cost to the attorneys representing the class action suit. I was disqualified and denied because I did not take it to a Subaru dealership to have it replace. I live alone, a senior citizen and live 25 miles from the nearest dealership. When the battery is dead you get the closest available business to replace it! This is happening about every two years!!!

Just replaced my third battery in a 5 year old Subaru Forester. First two were under warranty and replaced by dealership after they came a got it. I've had to replace this last one on my own. Advance Auro Parts was able to do a home delivery, which saved me from having to get a tow. I thought it was me but have come to find that there is a class action suit.

The car has a recurring issue with battery dying. In this instance battery was replaced with new battery - it went dead 1 week later requiring a jump-start and died again several days later. I also just received a notice that there was a class-action suit regarding this issue. Furthermore, the Flemington (NJ) Subaru service manager told me it's expected that car should be driven at least 1/2 hour continuously every day to keep battery charged. They also said to consider buying a charger and/or portable jump-started. How asinine!!!

This is a serious situation; I am a care-giver for my grandchildren, one of which has special needs, and require a reliable vehicle. Offering no fix to this is unconscionable. First occurrence w/ battery was in 2019, and in Nov 2021 replaced my starter, and battery again in Sept 2022. Cost is adding up! I'm also told that any costs incurred after 2020 are the responsibility of the customer, unless they have an extended warranty, which expired.

They dare claim to have the best vehicles out on the market - BULL $H!% (sorry).

The car if not driven every day, will have battery drained and will not start. Even with a jump start, the battery is so drained it has to be charged for several hours to bring it back to normal voltage. I understand this is a on going problem with Subaru cars that they can resolve.
