It's annoying. The compressor locked up and snapped the belt. For a while it would cycle on and off, then it started grinding. Then one day it locked up, and honestly I'm surprised it made it as long as it did making the noise it did. For an OEM compressor its around $600. For aftermarket its about $200... Though Subaru's never seem to like aftermarket parts.I don't really need A/C so I don't really care that it broke. It's just more money into the money pit of a car that I own. Do I care that I've put more money into it than it's worth? No, not really. I like the car, and so long as the bill stays lower than a car payment, I'll keep fixing it. I'll trade it eventually.
