It started a year ago on a trip out of state, the key was difficult to get out of the ignition. This has happened a couple times on and off. Then 7/12/19 it really became an issue and had to turn my car on and off several times until the key finally came out. The next time I went to use it though, the car wouldn't turn over. I was able to get a little start to turn over when I messed with the steering column up and down. I had to have it towed. I see the 2011 Subaru Impreza has a recall for the ignition switch- hmmm. Waiting to see what the shop says the issue is.
