Legacy Limited 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

2 year old Legacy Limited suddenly gets a completely dead battery.

Now I have to rent a car for several days while waiting for Subaru dealer locally to get newer batteries which they do not have in stock and no one outside Subaru seems to have the right battery for it so I'm stuck with dealer batteries.

Rental car now runs me $305 per week with a $300 deposit.

Had to pay a tow truck driver to come out and jump it with a 'power pack' ($80.00) so I could get out of O'Reilleys parking lot (trying to find a battery that Subaru did not have on hand) to drive back to Subaru and drop the car off while waiting for next week's shipment of 'newer design' batteries.

This is ridiculous considering Subaru has a reputation to uphold. You are leaving your customers stranded in differing locations which can be dangerous depending on what neighborhood your car is in when it suddenly decides it does not want to start at all... click click click.
