Outback Limited 3.6r

  • Automatic transmission
  • 69,373 miles

Had just noticed driver side headlight out day before, which had been replaced less than 6 months ago. Pulled over by police for headlight, driver side tail light, and passenger side brake light. When I brought it in to have bulbs replaced the next morning, was told 2 marker bulbs were out as well.

First of all, this must be an electrical surge for so many bulbs to be burning out at the same time. What's the fix Subaru?

Secondly, there needs to be a way to know when a bulb is out other than by observing visually. I've had previous cars that have the turn indicator blinking speed up when a bulb is out.
