seat material is falling apart

The saddle brown driver seat is falling apart on the edge towards the door on the top part of the seat. The material put into the seat had to of been crappy to begin with or this wouldn't be happening. This is a only a 2014 with only 56,000 miles on it. The dealer says well its out of warranty so he'll check an see an maybe the rep would OK 1/2 of the cost. I figure there should be no cost to me as this should flat out not be happening yet. If that's all they will do then this will no doubt be their downfall because yes I will put up with it till it gets really bad then look for a good salvage one while telling everyone about it.
