The A/C on the 2018 Subaru Outback was very terrible. It was like hell inside when in extreme temperatures during summer. Stopping at a traffic light or the parking lot would cause the A/C to start blowing warm air and no cold air is blowing, even if it’s set to the Lo temperature. The A/C operates again once in motion but if it reaches 100°F outside, it’s not blowing cold air enough even if it’s set to the Lo temperature. Took it to the dealership and they changed my compressor and expansion valve. It fixed the issue and cold air is persistent when car is in idle.
