Problem And Likely Cause: Transmission rebuilt at 3000 miles Bad synchro

Modifications: None

Submitted For Warranty Work (Yes/No): Yes

Reason Given For Denial: Evidence of abuse or aggressive driving ( which they will not show me )

Your Story: Car started grinding on the downshifts from 6th to 5th. Took it to dealer and they told me it was normal. Took it back a second time cause it got worse and they admitted there was an issue. They pulled the trans apart and apparently subaru denied the warranty cause they said I drove it too hard. Dealership paid for it under goodwill. Handed me the box of parts and one of my gears had 12 teeth clean ripped off no ware on the sides just teeth ripped off. Currently in contact with Subaru the dealership and the BBB.

They have given me such crappy service and the dealership is really coming at me cause I do not want it stated I abusively drove this car it’s my dream car. Yes I rode it a little hard ( after the break in point ) but how do 12 teeth get ripped clean off.
