problem #1

Dec 202016

XV Crosstrek Hybrid XV Electric Hybrid

  • Automatic transmission
  • 61,366 miles

Subaru salesman said they have had to replace axles on 4 other Crosstreks with low mileage. Design weakness, faulty part I don't know. Glad Subaru gave me a loaner and paid for repair even over 60,000 mile warranty ran out past month. I wonder if I bought a LEMON!? Second time two 2yr old car been in the shop for a week of major repair work 2016. (past Jan 2016 the dashboard lit up, check engine lights all on and had to have transmission fluid oil motor pump engine O rings/gaskets replaced at 45,000 miles! What else is gonna go wrong with this car? Seriously thinking of getting rid of it for a Honda or Nissan.
