Model 3 Long Range Rear Wheel Drive

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

Just the tip broke off from the port in the car. It lodged in the house charger so didn't notice it until I was in the middle of nowhere trying to charge. The pin tip guides the charger wand into the port and my portable charging wand was misaligned just enough that the pin tip was required. Had to have the car towed to super charger. Had to have the charger port replaced, and I had to have the home charger replaced, as well as my portable charger. Overall took 3 months to full sort out, all under warranty. The car was never not able to drive, just got caught out by two issues at once. Had to use 110V charger for 2 months which wasn't a big issue.
