Main Computer screen would not come up and the MCU operating it could not be rebooted. Had to change the MCU - expensive fix around 1500$ for a refurbished, one over 2100$ for a new one. This unit is required as many features for the vehicle are controlled through this screen, i.e. radio, navigator, heating, etc... I understand this is a common problem for Tesla model S years 2014-2016. The MCU has a memory card (flash card) on it that Tesla writes too every time they do a software update. Eventually this flash card burns out from all the re-writes.
