problem #1

Feb 272020

4Runner SR5 4.0V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 29,000 miles

This is the second time since I bought the car I have had to replace the front rotors due to excessive warpage. The first time was at 29,000 miles in September 2016, and the second set of rotors was done at 51,000 miles in March 2020. The instruments are impossible to read in the daytime, including the radio and the clock and temperature up on the dash. There is a dangerous hesitation that I took it to the dealer for - and they told me there was no problem. The car is the worst car I have ever owned. It also gets terrible mileage considering it is a newer car with all the latest technology. Toyota is highly overrated.
