4Runner SR5 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 67,800 miles

I bought my 2015 4Runner SR5 on Jan-04-2018 and it is certified by Toyota. On the way home, when I'm driving I saw the hood shake and vibrated up and down. Especially at hwy speed, it bounces like it is going to rip off the car. I think the paint will start cracking. When the thin metal sheet suddenly flies up to the sky, I think there are many peoples will get injured or die. I owned many cars and suv's and no one like this.Very bad quality and cheap material by Toyota. Do not buy 4Runner.

4Runner Limited 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

Hood vibrates during driving. Close to wind shield and in the center. Looks like the metal is bending....lame! Took it in to dealer and they made it worse. What the heck?

Sometimes I wonder if service personnel really care at all or even know what they are doing. I could go on for days about the bad experiences I've had with service departments for Chevys and Toyotas. I guess you just live with the problems as long as the car still runs?? Or waste your life trying to get a bunch of morons to do their job? Because they usually can never fix a problem that's caused by the design flaws of engineers obviously...
