4Runner Limited 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

This is not covered under the typical warranty, maybe under the Toyota Certified Extended warranty. Had the vehicle in the dealership for general tune-up, oil change, and inspection back in July 2020. Took the vehicle back to the same dealership in November 2020, at which point they said the XREAS suspension on the 4runner Limited was a terrible suspension system, and that it was actually leaking fluid on my vehicle.

Not really an urgent fix, but needed to be at the top of my next repaired items. We never do any off-roading with this vehicle, so I am completely unsure how this happens with a "city/highway-only" vehicle. Very upset that Toyota installs a sub-par suspension system on their vehicles.
