After being struck on the side by a vehicle traveling approximately 45 mph the side impact air bag came out to the size of a small balloon, it did not deploy to full size. The vehicle was a total loss..

(1) the vehicle I was driving in was proceeding to make a left turn on a green traffic signal when other vehicle failed to obey red traffic signal thus striking my vehicle between the driver's side front and driver's side rear doors ("B" pillar). (2) side airbag did not inflate contributing to more serious injuries sustained. (3) vehicle was totaled by insurance company. Could not find contact information on manufacturer to make notifcation of defect.

When vehicle was totalled in a crash, hit on the passenger's side first, vehicle changed direction and hit a pole head-on. There was no deployment of frontal or side air bags.

Consumer encountered a front end collision which pushed the front hood back towards the windshield. Both driver side/ passenger's side airbag's experieced no deployment during collision. Passenger of the vehcile suffered a fractured sternum.

While driving in a 50 mph zone attemping to change lanes, driver rear ended another vehicle that was stopped in the road. There was no deployment of the driver's or passenger's side air bag. The front of the vehicle was caved in, the windshield was broken, the passenger's side door and sun roof was buckled. The 1986 Cadillac was totalled.
