Camry XLE 2.4L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 124,000 miles

Bought the car for my daughter in March 2008, have owned 4 other Camry's, 2 that have gone over 220000 miles without problems. 02 Car was burning/consuming oil at the rate of 1 quart every 1500 miles. Daughter changed oil every 3000 miles. It will cost me 3000 dollars to replace the engine with another. Not sure if the replacement will be any better. I feel like I am taking a very bad chance/risk having this vehicle repaired as many others have had the same problems. Not sure what to do and not sure who to contact about this problem. Any suggestions? Please help me, is htere anything I can do to get any compensation from Toyota.

Camry LE

This don't make no damn sense that the 02 Camry needs a new engine. The dealer or manufacturer should replace the engine at no cost.
