I have had brakes checked and both rear are fine ... had handbrake adjusted on several occasions but within a week the car will coast downhill with the handbrake applied.. Only the gears will hold the car when the ignition is turned off. How long will the gearbox last doing this and how much do I need to spend before a solution to this problem is found?
