something electrical caused a fire something electrical caused a fire something electrical caused a fire

This car was my daughter's she just got new to her January 4th 2014. It just pisses me off that now she has to go thru this mess. We are waiting on insurance to decide if car is repairable or a total loss and we hope to just get it replaced. And hope it covers getting something without any other out-of-pocket money. It's a total nuisance to go thru this crap. She traded a lemon of a Saab (it was yellow too) for this and had to borrow money ($4,000) to go with it to get this Camry. It had less than 60 thousand miles on it and a certified Toyota from a Toyota dealership. So what went wrong with it? I hope the insurance figures it out.

She got home from work, parked outside her house on the street (across the street) went inside. Few minutes later a neighbor kid knocked on the door to tell her the car was on fire. 911 called. Fire dept came and put it out. The whole front end looks burnt up. Smells horrible inside. Luckily tho she wasn't driving and no one was in it. So Thank God for that. She had AAA out a few days before when it wouldn't start and they tightened the battery cable, so is that what the problem was? I read one complaint about someone else's battery cable causing a fire and their car being destroyed. Is that what happened here?

I hope we don't have to put any other money out for another car cause no one has it to give her now. This all just sucks! That's my rant!!
