Camry LE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,000 miles

The brake light and the ABS lights came on in the same time after about 10 mins drive. Then, both the speedometer and tachometer went haywire and started jumping up and down from 0 to the max, then the temp gauge dropped to zero, the A/C doesn't work. And yet, the vehicle is still able to drive just you won't know your speed.

Camry LE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission

I was driving my 2009 Toyota camry to work and all of the sudden the ABS brake light came on and all the gauges are going crazy while driving and when I'm in park.... I took it to the Toyota dealer and they could not diagnose the problem and are blaming the problem on an after market alarm system that was installed in 2008!!!!! It is very frustrating and Toyota dealer assistants are saying that there is nothing they can do to help... I am reading/researching other people's stories and they are having the same problem with their 2009 Toyota camry....

Does any one know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thank you very much.

Camry LE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

This is actually a 2010 Camry but the "2010" option wasn't available in the dropdown menu for me to choose. The ABS lights come on: this happened at 300 miles, at 1500 miles, and now at 5000 miles. It is covered under warranty so far. They are having Toyota engineers look at it. The first time they had to replace some parts and they said it was a significant problem. This is the third time and they are calling Toyota engineer to run a diagnostic to repair the problem.
