2009 Toyota Camry. Consumer writes in regards to transmission problems. The consumer stated shortly after purchasing the vehicle, she detected a slight challenge as she shifted the gears. The vehicle was serviced and the problem seemed to have disappeared. Unfortunately, subsequent inspections and maintenance service did not resolve the issue. During her drive on June 1, 2013, the clutch pedal became sluggish and did not immediately return to its original position upon release and within seconds, it stayed stuck to the floor. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. Although, she was not charged, the service included an adjustment to the clutch pedal and a test drive. Additionally, it was suggested she return the vehicle for further evaluation if the issue became problematic. The problem with the clutch and eventually the stick resurfaced several hours after retrieving the vehicle from the dealer. The consumer returned to the dealer, where they replaced the accumulator assembly, hose, tube and clutch release.
