Camry

  • Automatic transmission
  • 133,145 miles

My car starting vibrating on the left side last week. Toyota South Atlanta told me my right axle was about to break off. So I got a brand new one and I was told my left was okay for now. Yesterday my car started vibrating again and it felt like the car was pulling or jerking. I took it back to the dealer and they said I need a new transmission, I said at only 133,145. I feel like a car transmission going out at 133,145 miles is crazy. I feel the transmission had to have been faulty, I had a 2006 Toyota Matrix that last over 250,000 miles. My engine lite is not on but I just new something wasn't right. The dealer suggested taking it to Aamco because Toyota cost 5,000 to replace transmission. Does anyone have any suggestions other than taking it to a transmission shop. Thank You
