Car sitting in garage OFF and making a sound like fuel pump is running after sitting in garage a while. Once key is inserted and turned to ON the problem stops with electronic 'priming' of fuel pump. I am just waiting for the thing to catch on fire and sue Toyota. They sure do not build them like they used to...
Update from Jan 12, 2015: My bad.. Was in manual.. The sound is perfectly normal and is a test of the EVAP purge valve. Emissions device. Sure sounds like pump running but it is not.. Nothing to worry about..
