Camry LE 2.5L 4

  • Automatic transmission

I contacted dealership and Toyota care. or I should say TOYOTA DON'T CARE worthless warranty when you lean on plastic radiator shroud and it cracks, 2 months old. How long will it last with the engine heat when I fixed it myself a 5 minute fix I found that radiator support had 2 different size holes using same plastic rivet. Had parts guy pull up exploded drawing TOYOTA paperwork shows same part used in 2 different size holes. I went to pep boys got new rivets 2 different sizes and fixed it.

I contacted everyone in Kentucky NO ONE CARED they screwed up every car, was built wrong. This must be a common problem CRACKED radiator shroud as rock auto carries it in stock, too bad I bought mine from dealer for 4 times the price. Toyota says it was my fault leaning on shroud. HOW THE H_LL do you check fluids without leaning. I hounded everyone at the factory Japanese and American till finally they sent me the money. It was not about money it was about lack of customer service and piss poor quality and when I presented them with the fix gave them part numbers. they didn't do anything

Reading about the defective 8 speed transmission they need to stop the bullshit and fix the problem. Having worked in aerospace and defense for 30 plus years it disgusts me Toyota quality is so bad johnman142@protonmail.com
