OK, lets try again. Car was at the dealership for 3 WEEKS in January for the same problem. This time they have pulled the entire front of the car apart - the dash is gone, center console, door coverings - all the way back to the hybrid feature in the trunk. Heat only on driver side, air conditioning only on passenger side. This time the song and dance is that the Hybrid feature is making a part in the dash malfunction - REALLY?? Did I drive in on a turnip truck?? What in the name of all things holy does a battery in the trunk have to do with the heater in the front dash? Anyway, this has this group of highly trained mechanics completely stumped and so they had the HEAD of Toyota mechanical come down to review it...long story short they are keeping my car for...wait for it...THREE MONTHS!!! THREE MONTHS AND I STILL HAVE TO MAKE THE LOAN PAYMENT!! Needless to say, I am completely freaked out and want to get rid of the hunk of crap - they offered me 7,000. Kelly blue book is 12,500! can you spell screwed?
