On a freezing cold weekend drive in January, I realized that part of the problem is that the dual climate control was only blowing air conditioning on the passenger side. We took the car to the dealership when we got back and luckily they gave us a loaner...they had the car 3 full WEEKS!! The total cost for the repair was 2,800, but my husband basically told them to stick that in their ear and just put the dash back together and give us the car back - broken. After 2 days they finally called and said that they would only charge us for the "part" and not the labor to the tune of 980.00 ...afterward we took the car to the neighborhood auto repair and he said the total cost should have been around 1,200.00 for parts and labor. I guess my main gripe is with the HORRIBLE, AWFUL, UNACCEPTABLE service at the dealership. I don't know how long Toyota can support dealers that rip off their customers!
