Toyota has gone to the dogs. They can recall a lousy two bolts in the window and call it good... WRONG. The weatherstriping, window runners whatever they call it is allergic to heat! Then it becomes separated from the windows and the window gets play, buckles, or just plain shatters. TOYOTA ARE TOTAL A-HOES! I bought an Xtra Care Platinum Warranty and of course, its excluded. I hear Matrix owners are screwed just as bad 03-05. I was quoted $320 for one window, rip off jerks. Oh yeah, they want $450 to replace the whole console where a panel is flapping under the stereo because a plastic lever and cheap spring broke (another common defect) not covered.

The problem is recorded under NHTSA but Toyota doesn't have to recall, or won't. BOTTOM LINE IS TOYOTA'S SUCK, LOUSY SERVICE, WARRANTY, THEY HIDE DANGEROUS PROBLEMS AND THEN EXPECT CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR THEIR DEFECTS! Imagine... weatherstripping alergic to heat, in Vegas, what a joke Toyota.

Think twice about Toyota. I got rid of my SS Camaro because of stupid plastic crap breaking on it. GUESS WHAT GANG>? GM MAKES MOST US COROLLAS!
