Corolla LE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

I was driving locally to my friends house, about to go down a steep hill with a divider in the middle of the road when the car slowed down and shut off...I had to wait like 30 minutes before trying to start it...Then I was able to drive maybe 5 feet and the same thing happened...I had to pay to have it towed...THANKS TOYOTA

Corolla Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

While driving up a hill my car just shut itself off. I was able to put it in neutral and restart it, however it has now been diagnosed with a problem with the ECM. This costs at least $500.00 for the part and no idea how much the dealership will ream me to install it! I was wondering if other people had this problem since toyota is having so many problems with their electronics.
