Corolla CE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

The ride on this Corolla has always been exceptionally rough, as I feel every road imperfection, small or large. There seems to be no give, i.e. the struts do not absorb the bumps as they should in my opinion.

The ride is much too hard. Unless there is a bang each time the car hits a bump, or the front end starts to bounce uncontrollably. Dealer suggests replacing front struts at a cost of $1127.00. I will not replace the struts at this time, given the high cost of replacement.
