problem #3

Corolla 4-cyl

  • 35 miles
I was driving at about 35 mph on a road that has a speed limit of 45 mph. I went to stop for a line of traffic when I pushed my brake pedal the brake went to the floor. It didn't even slow me down. I hit the SUV in front of me then my car (with my foot still on the brake) accelerated forward and hit the SUV again and again before coming to a complete stop. I have had my car into the dealership 3 prior occasions to get the same condition fixed. I bought my car from said dealership, brand new, a little over a year ago.

As I applied the brakes on my 2010 Toyota Corolla, the vehicle seemed to momentarily surge before slowing down. This has happened on other occasions as well. The duration of the surging sensation is very brief.

Corolla

  • 700 miles
I have a brand new 2010 Toyota Corolla which has only 700+ miles on it. Today, on my way to get lunch, my brakes slipped twice within 5 minutes of each other. The 2010 Corolla definitely should be part of the brake problem recall.
