I bought a 2014 Corolla on 03.04.2020 and, I have discovered at night (especially) all I get is a glare due to the number of defogger lines on the rear windshield. I cannot see any vehicles behind me at all. All I see is a glare of lights, I have no idea how far or near the vehicles behind me are.

Moisture and mold inside car for no reason. The car has seen no spillage and no opened windows during rain yet the interior is always fogged up since the week it was purchased and the car traps moisture and causes mold in the vents on the floor inside the doorway.

My windshield wipers work on the low functions but have not worked on the fast speed for as long as I have had my vehicle. I have contacted Toyota and they stated my vehicle was not affected by the recall for the short in the windshield wiper switch. This causes a visibility issue when driving in rain. The wipers stop completely when switching from slow to fast speed so I can only use the low speeds which does not help much during storms.

Several times I came too close to hitting a car on my right side that I could barely see because of the way the car is made. The back half of the car's roof is held up by two "posts" (I don't know their real name). These are wide enough that they block a lot of my vision when I am trying to decide if it is safe to change into the lane on my right. When this is combined with the right, rear headrest, it is very difficult to see a car if he is in that huge blindspot. This design is very dangerous.

The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that the head lights reflection from the drivers side mirror temporary blinded the driver. Also, the contact mentioned that the visor on the drivers side was too short to block the sunlight. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician explained that the vehicle was working up to standards and they could not alter the design of the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 300. Updated 12/18/14 the consumer stated the driver's side mirror was brighter than the passenger side. At night vehicles passing on the left are blinding as the lights shine off the mirror.

As I was driving through the rain storm at night, I noticed my windshield wiper motor stop working. The next morning I found there is a flaw of design where the fluid delivery system is below the engine hood which is a completely and utterly moronic. I found out damaged/dent hood caused it to improperly malfunction.

I was not familiar with the light switch on the vehicle that I had just purchased and believed that I had turned on the lights of my vehicle. In reality I was driving with the taillights off because the light switch was in the "dlr" position. (the light switch is behind the steering wheel with small letters that can't be read in the dark). There is no indication that the taillights are off when the switch is in this position. The headlights are on as well as the instrument panel illumination. Since then I have seen the same vehicle / model year driving without taillights in the middle of the night in approximately 5 occasions. I believe that sooner or later this design flaw will cause accidents.

Bought a new car in April 2014 from Toyota dealer (Toyota of mckinney). Since then having problem with rear windshield. In the night driving there is a refraction of lights from the cars coming from behind. Dealer is not ready to fix this issue saying its a design flaw from Toyota. When contacted Toyota they are not accepting the issue saying its user preference. Its really annoying to drive in nights also its a safety issue when visibility is disturbed affecting to see cars coming behind. This issue is in all Corolla 2014 models and even in Camry. Not sure how they can neglect this issue. Would like to know the correct contacts and help to file complain against Toyota. Thanks in advance.
