Corolla L 2zre

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

When I used to fill up at any gas station, car always felt weird. I thought it was the transmission or throttle body, rough idle problem fixed by switching to Mobil gas.

Corolla Eco Premium

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,400 miles

Engine stalled and check engine light came on. Restarted vehicle and shifted in reverse- stalled. Restarted shifted into drive- stalled. Trac light was also on. Had to get a tow (under Toyota care) took an hour and a half to arrive. Driver checked gas cap to see if it was tight enough (often causes a problem if not tight). Vehicle towed to Santa Monica Toyota (Don't go there). Had to rent a vehicle out of pocket as they did nothing to coordinate Toyota care coverage for rentals. Documents had to be submitted and mailed to Toyota care and awaiting reimbursement.

Also have had low mileage ranging between 29-32 mpg. Never have seen that 40 mpg as advertised and the sole purpose for purchasing this vehicle.

Auto rep said the computer was not programed correctly. They did an update which took one hour. Cause code:

tsb0011-14 EG1401 MIL on DTC P2646 and/or P265B What ever that means (if anyone knows, please do tell).

Car rep said the mileage "may" be related to computer issue.

Terrible mistake purchasing this crap Corolla. I just hate the rough idle. The dealer is uncooperative saying this is a common problem with cars.

Toyota cars are really overpriced in KSA, and the dealers provide extremely poor service
