Returning from a dance one late night, stopped by the traffic police, warned that tail light is not ON and is dangerous to drive, should not be driving the vehicle at night and was not allowed to drive further. The traffic cops tried to hep by looking into the manual and checking online, unable to help. Suggested not to drive but to contact road side assistant (RAC) and sorted out before driving home as it is a long way.
RAC contacted, waited for 2 hours and when the Mechanic arrived, checked out the car and confirmed everything is ok, fuse, power and connection all in good order. No fault can be identified. Advise to contact Toyota as the problem is within the Toyota system and no mechanical fault can be identified. So now waiting for Toyota to advise on which way to go.
