Corolla Hatchback XSE 2.0L

  • CVT transmission
  • 70,004 miles

From a stop position if you press the gas pedal to about 70 to 100 percent, when you are trying to cross a busy intersection or making a turn, the vehicle will accelerate for about a second and then loses power or slows down nearly causing an accident. This happens about 2 percent of the time. This makes it hard to calculate when you can cross a busy highway or street. We have taken it to have it checked out and dealer said they found nothing wrong but vehicle is still doing it. It has become very scary because one day while heading to the park I had calculated that I had enough time but the vehicle did the slow down nearly causing incoming vehicles to hit me, it was quite embarrassing having them honk at you.. other than that we love our vehicle.
