The car started to have vibration when accelerating at about 21000 miles, otherwise in good condition. the vibration was slight and only noticeable at low speed between 20-40 mph, it developed into a major shaking a few months later, especially when speed is above 40 mph.
The dealer mechanics checked the problem and showed me a loose U-joint in the front part of the rear drive shaft(4wd), but they said the U-joint cannot be replaced, must replace the whole drive shaft. The repair cost is about $1800 including tax, with the part accounting about $1200.
