I was driving on freeway at a speed 60-70mph. It felt like front driver side brake was engaged by itself without pressing on the brakes. I lost the control of the car, and the car started skidding towards to left. I heard high pitch noise. I and my passenger felt like the car was going to roll over. The weather was sunny, no rain, no snow. The road was clean of debris or fluids. This failure occurred once. I lost the control of the car, felt like rolling over. If it was rainy day, probably, I would have been dead or seriously injured. I barely gained the control of the car. I had the car towed to a local Toyota dealer, they had inspected and repaired. This was the technician's written comment: "please note the vehicle has aftermarket brake rotors and pads. This damage is most likely due to the front wheel bearings not being properly torqued during previous brake service." I am filing this complaint, because, I would like to see if this problem was encountered by somebody else as well.
