Vehicle may creep while brakes are applied when stopped. Normal braking pressure is applied to stop vehicle. Vehicle stops ok. After a few second, the vehicle may begin to creep forward as if the hydraulic brake booster is no longer applying the correct pressure to hold the vehicle, requiring additional light pressure to stop the vehicle. Problem is more noticeable if an accessory such as the A/C compressor turns on and causes the engine idle speed to increase very slightly. Until yesterday my biggest concern was bumping a vehicle in front of me at a stoplight. On 7/1 while sitting in the pick up line at camp, the creeping caused me to nearly bump a child who was standing next to the vehicle. Numerous other complaints by other Toyota Land cruiser (same generation) owners at forum.ih8mud.com/threads/Toyota-brakes-still-rolling-while-brakes-applied-at-stop-light.918029/ as well as Toyota 4runner owners at www.Toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-T4rs/205350-rolling-while-brakes-applied.html.
