RAV4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

The car was driving perfectly fine, but the next time it was driven (at most 15 min later),. the steering was awful (very hard to turn), the AC light was blinking and the battery "discharge light" came on. When we took it in, the mechanics (one who had worked on cars for 50 yrs and the other 30 yrs) said they had never seen anything like it. The screw had come off the altenator.
